Easter
fun, building
and digging,
April 2012
Egg rolling and egg
hunting fun was had
at the yurt on
Easter Day. Lots of
beautifully
decorated eggs and
bright seeking eyes
for chocolate ones
hidden in the
springtime foliage.
A big thank you to
all who helped on
the day - the
wheelbarrow pushers,
who shifted a
trailerload of
compost up the steep
track - and Susanne,
Drew and Tom, for
putting together the
fantastic raised bed
so efficiently and
with (what looked
like) remarkable
ease! Planting fun
ahead - the children
are already delving
in, excited by this
new structure in
their garden space.
Into the
Middle of
Nowhere Premiere
The premiere of "Into
the Middle of
Nowhere" at
the DCA on Saturday
21st August, 2010,
was a great success
with over 150
attending. We’d like
to offer enormous
gratitude to Anna
Ewert for creating
this beautiful film
for us, and Sabine
for being out as the
support in all
weathers. Their
presence and skills
are unsurpassed. The
overall amount
raised by donation
and sale of bags was
just over £350. This
was a fantastic
outcome from the
event and is a much
appreciated
contribution to
support our work in
woods.
A very big
thank you to
those who helped
to organise such
a lovely event,
and to all those
who came along
and supported us
on the day!
